Sunday’s Communion antiphon, vivid in its presentation of language, beautifully sung on this video below. Follow along with the text and see what emerges in your mind, and consider how the music gives added majesty and beauty:
They did eat, and were filled exceedingly, and the Lord gave them their desire: they were not defrauded of that which they craved.

This is very holy.
However, I notice a few times where the Triors Monks are not "together."
I only mention this BECAUSE this is not normal for them: they're usually 100% together.
They are an amazing and YOUNG community.
Wow, this is beautiful! My first thought was that the acoustics are amazing. Are they singing in the abbey church?
I just love the treatment of the indirect object eis. Some folks (on both sides) would like to make "the liturgy wars" turn on the question of whether the liturgy is about God or about us. Here is a chant out of our deep musical tradition that melismatically emphasizes "us"–as does the Requiem introit.
"Deum et animam scire cupio, nihil aliud." Augustine: "I want to know God and the soul, nothing else." That relationship is what the liturgy describes and pleads for.

No. I think it's about whether 'us' is invited in His Liturgy, or 'us' include God in OUR liturgy.
The contemporary mindset that is expressed in most contemporary songs and hymns in today's liturgy is not the same as the one in Gregorian chant.
