Catholic liturgical music is serious, solemn, transcendent, but Catholic musicians are never more fun and inspiring than when they are talking about what they love most. This is what happens at sacred music events around the world: the social and intellectual are critically important elements. The musicians (and music enthusiasts) at the Chant Café, a project of the
Church Music Association of America, bring that sense of life and love to the digital world. As St. Augustine said, "Cantare amantis est."

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't get it … is this really going to REPLACE the hymns???
Too bad you couldn't find a way to make the cover stunningly beautiful and apt in every way! (j/k)
This is absolutely TERRIFIC!! An absolutely visionary project, and the timing could not be more perfect. Congratulations to Adam Bartlett on a job incredibly well done and a special thanks to Jeffrey Tucker who nurtured this project and who encourages us all who work in Chant.
Glad to see it! Nice work.
Stunning !!!! Printing it out and place it everywhere I go.
@Anonymous
Yes, this would replace hymns.
Is there any way this picture can be printed in full size? (11 x7) "Print this Post" didn't do it.
How about this

wonderful cover….any idea on what we can expect the price to be?
It is 460 pages, hardback. The price will be around $18 but we're are still trying to push lower. We'll know in about 2 weeks.
Hurry! This is by far the worst tease. What a beautiful cover!
So this will apparently arrive in Pittsburgh on the second day of the Colloquium. We'll work to get the buy link on Amazon up around the same time and start shipping that Monday or so.
Believe me, I can hardly sleep thinking of holding this book. It is a dream come true.
Jeffery: What's the situation with downloading this? I'd love to put this onto a spare flash drive and give it to our parish's organist.
