No, Jeffrey, your premise as stated is illusory. Music, in my estimation, is a particular phenomenon in the cosmos that is gifted to us as a treasured commodity. It's hertiage is perfection, it strives for integration. If that's what you mean by improvement, well all right then.
And IanW, I can't speak for Jeffrey's sensibilities, but I hope to remain a Jeffersonian to my last gasp!
