I LOVE this recording of this piece! And I was SO EXCITED when Scott Turkington (the conductor here) agreed to an impromptu sing-through of this at the Co-Cathedral before Mass during the recent chant workshop in Houston. ST and I sang the lead together, with the Men's choir singing the responses, and even my favorite bow-tied blogger joined in the fun.
Fr. Christopher's singing (and Latin pronunciation!) was lightyears better than mine, but still it was thrilling to sing such an amazing piece of music with such amazing musicians.
Thanks JT for bringing the memory to mind. And thanks CMAA for making that glorious 3 minutes (within a glorious 3 days) possible.
